Nathan Friedkin
Founder
After experiencing firsthand the benefits of a steady power yoga practice and sharing that practice with his athletic sons, MPY Founder Nathan Friedkin researched the connection between yoga and athletic performance.
Two points stood out:
• Yoga was already being used at the highest levels to help professional and Olympic athletes prevent injuries and perform their best.
• Instances of injuries in youth sports were skyrocketing at unprecendented levels.
Calling on16 years of experience as a video producer / project manager and 8 years of youth sports coaching, he recruited a Dream Team team of athletic yoga teachers who shared his vision and Maximum Performance Yoga® was born.
Jessi McMaster

To know her is to sweat with her. While Jessi McMaster spent years testing her body's limits in competitive sports and fitness, it was yoga that taught her how to truly connect to her body and focus her energy.
Inspired by the way in which yoga cultivated strength, balance and clarity, Jessi got her RYT-200 so she could share the gifts of yoga with others.
Whether she is on the road training athletes at NIKE EYB (Elite Youth Basketball) or leading classes in Long Beach, CA – Jessi's passion for yoga, sports, and making athletes better puts her at the top of the class.
Jackelyn Ho
MPY All Star Content Developer
Jackelyn knows no limits. She's passionate about health and wellness for athletes and positive messaging to women about their bodies.
She founded her own positive body image magazine called Fiterazzi Magazine, sold it after a year of meteoric success, and is now an Associate Editor at Sprite.com
Jackelyn teaches yoga & fitness with NIKE and Crunch Fitness, specializing in high intensity interval training (HIIT) to increase strength and endurance in her students.

No one works harder than Dean, the CEO & Yoga Beast of Man Flow Yoga, who has single handedly made yoga accessible for tens of thousands of men across the world.
Dean believes that yoga is one of the best workouts a man can do and has become a stigma smasher for encouraging men of all ages to get on their mats and start a yoga practice.
While playing D1 collegiate lacrosse at University of Wisconsin, Dean began practicing yoga to to increase his flexibility and endurance. He went on to become a 200 hour RYT and became a leading advocate of the yoga for men movement.
Whether he is teaching athletic yoga classes in his hometown of Austin, making videos, publishing e-books and developing apps, everything Dean does shares one common theme: He wants you to live healthy and strong.
Jeannie Lee
Injury Prevention & Anatomy
A woman of many talents, Jeannie is a 200 hour RYT and a health and biology educator with emphasis in women's health, human genetics, and bone cell research.
Jeannie earned her bachelor's degree in Integrative Biology and is also a Biology Scholars Program alum at the University of California, Berkeley.
Her jam with MPY blends the principles of general anatomy with a targeted emphasis on athletes and specific sports.
Utilizing a powerfully balanced approach between science and spirit, Jeannie makes anatomy fun, easy to understand and most importantly helpful to MPY teachers.
M. Ryan Saldivar
Breath Control & Core
M. Ryan Saldivar is a true master at teaching others how to use their breath to increase physical performance and mental endurance.
Ryan cut his teeth integrating yoga with athletes at Greg Jackson's MMA gym in New Mexico. He helped countless professional boxers, MMA fighters and world class jui-jitsu fighters improve their strength, stamina and focus.
He has over 2,000 hours of continued education in kinesiology, sports therapy, and completed pre-med education.
Ryan's Certifications include:
-500 hour Kundalini instruction by International Kundalini Yoga Teachers Association
-750 hour Massage Therapist Certification from National Holistic Institute.
